Default Ten High flush for your whole stack?

10/20 nl live cash game
I got 3k, and villian got me cover..
Villian is a solid thinking player who always seem to have the nuts when he is in a hand. I have a bad image, where everyone thinks i always have [censored] and always trying to move them off hands..

5 callers, I call on the button with T8h

Flop: J 6 2, all hearts
Villian in BB lead out 75, UTG 1 make it 200, I make the smooth call, Villian make it 700, utg think forever and folds. and I fold too(too tight?).

Comment?

Richard

I think folding here is bad.

Id call his raise and Push / CRAI a non paired or heart turn.

Im thinking he has a set here, you lost a lot of money

I don't get it. It's a cash game and moving in is +EV. There is absolutely nothing to think about. If he flopped a higher flush or draws out on you, just take your pills and blame the dealer. Yes, he has a ton of outs against you, but if you can't make a move in this situation because of scared money then you are playing too high.

Pushing now is just as well, no? A set doesn't fold, and the ace high flush draw comes along whereas it can possibly fold the turn.

Isn't gambling all about putting in your money when you have the advantage? If your bankroll can cover it, you should bet a million $$ on a 50.00000001 chance.

The only combinations that beat him are Ah-xh, Kh-xh and Qhxh. If we add that up it makes 18 combinations...right? Now it shouldn't beat too hard to find 19 combinations he can beat when he gets called.

Given his table-image there are a lot of hands that might consider calling: J-J, 6-6, 2-2, J-6, J-2, 6-2, Ah-A, Kh-K, Qh-Q, Ah-J, Kh-J. I spare myself to calculate the weighted odds on that one, but I would be very suprised if it doesn't add up to 51+%. He even has a backdoor straight flush redraw.

He doesnt have a set. From villans description, in a limped pot, he would have flat called the reraise trying to fill up. This seems like a good fold to me.

Ok, then whenever this guy plays a pot you should better fold. If he has the nuts all the time, you got no chance. It's that simple. I wish I had that sort of a reputation...maybe I don't.

Villain led out and reraised a raiser in an unraised pre pot with hero yet to act and who smoothcalled the first flop raise. He rates to have a higher flush here with his description the vast majority of the time.
