Default TPGK 100NL v min raise

opp is loose passive, 51/10/0.5. No other reads on villan.
Recently switched from limit to NL, different lines and thoughts on play so far appreciated

UTG calls, 2 folds, SB calls, Hero raises to $4, UTG calls, SB folds.


Flop: ($9, 2 players)A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $8, UTG raises to $16, Hero raises to $65. planning to fold to a reraise and pretty unsure of how to play if he called...

this flop is dry enough so that 3-betting is not necessary.

i call the flop and either call down or sometimes c/f-ing UI to a significant bet.

Probably want to raise more PF. You're going to be OOP vs. UTG, so it'd be good to scare him out with a hand that often has a tough time on the flop.

I don't know about the flop, I'm a limit player as well [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

re preflop: i just click the pot button

Calling down after the raise was one thought, however I decided on the three bet b/c playing I was hoping not having to play oop the rest of the hand, and the min raise sort of made me shout set to myself. I also really didnt want to have to c/f to a significant bet later, or are none of these really significant enough to warrant a 3bet?

I don't like the flop 3 bet. He probably doesn't have AQ, he won't fold AT or a set.
