Re: Best tear jerker movie
Field of dreams...LOL! I don't even know what to say to that...such a lame movie.
Anyway, I would have voted for Gump, but there is really only 1 or 2 real tear jerking momments (asking about son, mother dying), so I'd have to go with Saving Private Ryan too. Basically, any WWII movie gets me, but the cemetary scenes (both start and finish) as well as the scene where the letter writer realizes that Ryan's brothers where killed... ...hell, it almost gets me just thinking about it... |

Also, I came damn close during the Notebook - seriously, I'm not gay [/ QUOTE ] Liar. One scene that gets me is the end of The Sixth Sense when Haley Joel is telling his mom that her mother secretly watched her dance and was proud of her. Haley Joel was just so good in that movie. That, combined with the "twist" made for a really good ending. DN |

Re: Best tear jerker movie
Saving Private Ryan for sure. I saw it in the theater, on a military base... In Germany. I don't think that anyone wasn't at least somewhat moved.
