Default Two hands, ended the tournament?

Played a rebuy tourney on Stars today. Average were about 10 000 and I had about 10 000.
The rebuy and add-on period was over. Hadnīt any in particular image at the table.
About 200 left of 400 and about top 40 gets paid. I always look for the final table and not just cashing ITM.

Blinds 100/200.

An activ Utg raises to 600 and I call in middle position with JJ. Everybody elsefolds.

Flop: 9QQ rainbow
(pot:1500)

Utg: Bet 800 from his 15 000 stack

I raise to 2000 for information and a hand that likely can be the best hand.He moves all-in and Iīdonīt know what to do? How is your thinkning progress and what can I beat? Should I have played it different on any street? Raise pre, or maybe call flop? I get 2:1 and a win will bring me up to 20 000 and if I lose I will be out and if I fold I will have 7500 left.

I think you're probably beat here. You're only beating 22-88,TT, JT, or AK. You have a lot of chips left so don't sweat it.

SInce you have position on the preflop raiser, I think I am re-raising to about 1800 preflop. Obviosuly this bloats the pot, but against an active player who could be raising with a lot of hands UTG, you need to play JJ strongly.

As played, raising the flop seems OK. You can take down the pot with the best hand or fold to massive resistance.
