Default $400 NL Kings on Three Flush Board with K High Draw

Do I bet more on the flop as this gives me odds for the draw against a set, but then lower drawing flushes don't pay me (i.e. Jd, 9d) and am only getting played back by hands that beat me!
Can I really lay the 2nd Nut Draw here?

I call pretty quickly here. He could easily have JJ/QQ with a diamond, AA no diamond, AdTx etc

Your villian has committed most of his chips on a re raise. I don't think he does this without either the A of diamonds or a flopped flush. You might want to wait for a better spot here then to call or push this flop.

In hindsight I suppose a check call would have been better,

as is I'm calling this at worst you are up against a set and still 35% to win calling $314 into a $668 pot you gotta call

Call, you are to likely to either have the best or the best draw or both, you are only crushed by the AAd.
