[/ QUOTE ] If by "owning" you mean "trying to needle when mad that an opponent folded an inferior QQ hand" and "sucking out when drawing to 10% of the pot when the $$$ got in" vs a guy with 8x his chips, then yes. BTW, is THIS the other hand you meant to post? Fri Aug 04 14:37:00 PDT 2006 Micon and Gold at it Again Brian Micon and Jamie Gold have been needling each other all day, Micon waving an electronic sign reading "Donkey" at Gold and Gold calling the clock on Micon on several occasions. On a flop of 8diamond3diamond2club, Jamie Gold pushes all-in, having Micon well covered and Micon calls, showing pocket 10's for an over pair. Micon is behind when Gold flips up pocket 2's for a set. The turn puts the Kclub on the board, improving neither player. The river brings the 10diamond, giving Micon a better set and doubling him up to $71,000. Gold is down to a still respectable $270,000. But yes, he is the Micon system guy. He's an OK guy, if a bit haughty for not a lot of reason. |
