My suggestion is to never flat call a raise/bet with your sets unless you are planning to bluff the turn or bet a made redraw. Assuming that was your plan -

Hand 1 - fold
Hand 2 - raise

In hand 1, how about a check raise on the flop? We can dump if 3 bet and getting called should allow us to define villains hand pretty well.

Hand 2, a raise seems pretty good unless villain is uber-tight.

Cheers

OP didn't ask about the flop play, but I like 3-betting and folding the raise depending on the read. I don't like CR vs. a draw heavy board, but that's me.

Yah, I can't see a c/r on the first hand - too often I'm out of position looking at an ugly turn trying to figure out what to do in a big pot I've created.

I'm also uneasy about 3 betting that flop. I don't see anyone pushing a draw going away, so I might make a terrible fold if they look to get it all in. If I could pin down a flop 4bet to just KK, then sure.
