I find them tough. But I'm a fish. There's lots of good players 1/2, 2/4...

Default Much more agressive at WPEX

At 3/6 there are usuelly a couple of loose players at a table. IT's rare to find a VP$P% over 40, but usuelly a couple of 30%. The main difference is thes guys are usuelly loose-agressive. I almost never run in to a loose player who raises preflop less that 12% of the time.

Coming from Party Poker it took me some time to adjust to this. My first week's rakeback was ate up by getting run over.

I find that the 2/4 - 5/10 FRLHE games are very similar to Ongame's. I haven't played these limits at Stars and was wondering if anyone has and if they could say whether or not Stars has similar or softer games at these limits.

I'm referring to the 5-max table games btw. Yes there are some regular fish there (Kalounardo for example, huge maniac/lagtard) but I've run into some extremely tough players (e.g. this one guy whose name is all numbers like 905216 or something)

Interestingly enough, I find the 20/40 games to be a fish fest. I wonder why the good players aren't playing there?

Oh and, the 3/6 there is in my humble opinion, soft as a baby's bottom. I haven't really played much 5/10 so can't speak to that.

i play full mostly 2/4 through 3/6, and the games are significantly tougher than party. I'd say 33% of the pots get folded to the button. Lots of small pots, very little open limping, just tags looking for rakeback.

I played there for around a month when they first started the rake free thing but there weren't enough games going so I stopped playing there.

but anyway.. from what I got when playing there was that the six max limit games were just as loose as the party games, but the full ring games were almost unbeatable. The games might have loosened up since then since all it was when they started the rake free thing was bonus whores and 2p2ers, but that's what I gathered from playing there.

Im torn between my desire to tell people about how fishy WPX is so that the site grows, and to not tell them how fishy it is because I dont want any good players moving over and eating my fish

10/20 has gotten tough. i made 12K about 6-8 weeks ago over a 2 week period. then i got a little too laggy and gave back 3k in a couple thousand hands(i am not sure, but i think i fell victim to the blind skipping stuff that was happening then). i then took a break and i just started looking into playing there again. i think the play has improved but its still very profitable if you are a solid player.
