Default Hypothetical QJ Situations

This started off as another hand (from my session review) but it went off on a tangent into another hand that I created. Assume your standard 1/2 table at party, with no reads.

Situation #1

Hero is in the CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
5 folds, MP calls, Hijack calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, MP calls, Hijack calls.

I have assumed this was a limp situation only. Does anyone raise here and get it 3way? Can we assume we'll win a majority of the pots with top pair? For the sake of the rest of the hand we'll go with hero raising.

FLOP: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
MP checks, HJ checks, Hero bets, MP calls, HJ calls.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
MP checks, HJ checks, Hero checks

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
MP checks, HJ bets, Hero?

How does your river line change if MP bet out? If HJ called or didn't call that river bet?

Situation #2:

For this, let's assume we limped after w/ QJo.

Hero is in the CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
5 folds, MP calls, Hijack calls, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks.

FLOP: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB Checks, BB Bets, MP folds, HJ Raises, Hero?

So in addition to the two situations on river and flop, please tell me your thoughts on QJo in this position preflop. Thanks.

I 3 bet the flop in #2 because HJ could easily be reraising BB's customary BB bet out to steal the pot.

1 would require a read on HJ, but with no reads I would call down. I would rather bet the turn and check the river though.

Hand 1: I would call and expect to lose. If MP bet and HJ folded, I would call. If it went bet/call I would fold.

Hand 2: Annoying, since your reverse implied odds suck, but there's a good chance HJ is raising with a TP that you have out-kicked. I can go either way on this one. At an aggro level I 3bet or coldcall and get to show down, at a passive one I fold. I don't play 1/2 FR at PP so it's a cruddy response I guess.
