2-5 NL. Confusing river action

Villain in the hand is a friendly guy who plays a lot of hands. He is running well and likes to call down. We have been chatting for a while prior to this hand.

A couple limp, a guy in MP raises to $20 and 6 people call including me on the button with 22.

Flop comes A Q 7 rainbow and is checked around.

Turn is a 2, rainbow. Villain throws out a little $20 bet from the small blind and all fold to me. He seems very weak and his hand range is very wide here. I decide to raise the river.

River is a 5. Sb fiddles a little and bets $35. I fiddle a little and Make it $110. Sb plays with his chips for 20 seconds and raises me $100 more. I...

Raise the turn

as played on the river mabye he has top 2, mabye he has a set. I call.

Make it $180 or so on turn and move all your chips into the pot the next time you are given the chance. You say he likes to call down. Let him.

As played on turn, raise more on the river. You didn't say if he was (very) passive, but if he is, just call his reraise.

I know I should have raised the turn. Fancy syndrome, but Sb picked a lovely time to try a little turn bluff with 43. I just called.
