anyone get the party survey from keynote?
I got some party poker survey thats supposedly from keynote (some company that apparantely runs surveys).
It is supposed to take a half hour to complete (wtf? no mention of pay anywhere). I click on it (like a fool that just woke up), I answer a few questions hoping i can wiz through it and maybe get some reward, and after a few questions its asking me to open up my party account via the party software. So, has anyone else got this email, smells of a scam to me. |

Re: anyone get the party survey from keynote?
clicking on an unknown link and then it asks you to open up the client smells REALLY dangerous to this total internet-ignoramus.
I haven't heard about this survey. Unless someone else can claim that it's legit I would be very worried about your password safety and whatnot and would think that a virus-scan would be in order. You may want to ask in the software forum to see what they think. sounds pretty scary to me. |

Re: anyone get the party survey from keynote?
Ya, i of course didn't open the party software when it asked me to, and promptly quit the survey.
Did a virus-scan that turned up clean. Then I sent a copy of the email to party asking them if it was legit or not. Im paranoid that the virus scan could have missed something if I did get infected, so im waiting for party to get back to me on this. But if anyone else knows anything that would be great. |
