9750 chips for day 2
hey guys, i have 9750 chips going in to day 2 of the big one. I know the strategy i want to play, and that will basically depend on my 'M' until i can get it above 20 or 25, where i can play my game. I am looking for any advice for the opening moments/rounds in day 2, blinds are 250/500 with a 50 ante. I wont know anyone at my table at the start of the day, and i have an M of just under 8. any subtle tips you guys could give me, or things i may not of thought of, please let me know. thanks heaps... i am looking to win - not cash, ie, i dont want to survive, i want to build. I am basically looking for advice on those first few hands/rounds where i am going to have to risk. thanks again.

Open a pot or two when its folded to you. When I look for hands to do this with, I'm not concerned with cards, but usually with who is in the blinds, position, etc - but look for hole cards that have a chance of "sucking out goot" if called.
And mind your physical tells.
