You're having a semantic difficulty. He didn't raise 5600 more he made it 5600 to go.

[/ QUOTE ]

You are incorrect. Azaria makes it 5.6k, the other guy puts him all in for another 2.9 on top, putting in 8.5k total. 8.5+5.6=14.1k, not including the blinds. So he's getting 14.1/2.9=4.86:1 not including blinds. Even without blinds he's getting correct odds to call. Either you don't know how to calculate pot odds, you're missing something, or I don't know how to calculate pot odds.

[/ QUOTE ]

No you're right, I forgot the extra 2900 in the pot from the last raise. It's so much easier on the internets when it's added up for me.

Anyone have word on Schneids? He was supposed to go in as an alternate today.

I'm just over 30k chips as of the dinner break. I've shown two hands down the whole time. Hopefully continued good luck.

Plastik Lays Down 2nd Nuts
With a board showing Q639 and $7,000 in the pot. Victor Ramdin pushes David Plastik all-in for his last $8,000. Plastik thinks for several minutes saying, "There is only one hand I can't beat." Ramdin says, "Yeah I got it." Plastik folds KK face up for the second nut flush and Ramdin returns the favor by showing A4 for the nut flush. Ramdin collects the pot and is now sitting with $18,000, Plastik is down to $8,000 in chips.

Wow. An awful lot of showing going on. Is this really that common? I dont think I would show anything in a tourament like this.

$600-->$3500???

Leonidas Surviving

Toto Leonidas moves all-in preflop for his last $300. His opponent makes the call and shows A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] while Leonidas has K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] . He survives the hand and doubles up to $600.

The following hand, Leonidas is all-in again with 8-8 and his opponent holds A-K. Leonidas' all-in hand holds up again and he's made a slight comeback up to $3,500.

[/ QUOTE ]

There are blinds, antes, and other people calling but folding to a raise. Der.
