Default Smart aggression or dumb aggression?

10/20 - In the BB holding A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 EP, 2 LP and the SB call, and I check. I don't yet have a great read on the players, but most seem to play well and the table seems to be rather aggressive.

Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

SB checks, I check, EP bets, both LPs fold and SB calls. I raise. EP folds and SB calls. Now, it's only me and one other player, just like I wanted.

Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

SB check, I bet and SB calls.

River: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

SB checks, I bet and SB calls. I take the pot, SB shows 66.

I think the flop checkraise is spewage with no read. After that the rest of the hand is standard. I would just call the flop.

I don't understand your flop check-raise. It isn't very likely that you have the best hand, and even if you do, it's incredibly vulnerable. Why build a big 3-way pot? I prefer to check-call.

i think if your going to make a play at the pot, just lead the flop. a weak second option is call, and fold turn UI(and i don't count the 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] as improvment). i wouldn't expect to get it HU the way you played it too often. my vote is dumb agression.

I would plan on check/folding most turns, but I would check/call the turn when the 2s hits.
