I busted. Had my stack up to 18k during the first hour. Then I made the foolish mistake of getting in a ton of money with Q9s on a JT8 board, only to see AK calling a re-raise and hitting a Q on the turn. Weee. I was down to 3k for the next 4 hours. Finally pushed AQ over a raise. Stars qualifier called the extre 2600 with 55. I flop a Queen, he gets running hearts. I'm busto. Who's getting drunk with me tonight? mlagoo has ~5k at dinner break.

up and down (set loses to river flush) and up and down (straight loses to river flush) and up and out (set loses to river straight).
This feels really bad.

Very frustrating tournament for me -- busted mid level 3 when i restole A9o w/ 5k all in in the BB, sb who had raised to 600 and was absolutely horrible instacalled w/ QTs and won.
I had AK 3 times, 99 twice, QQ, KK, JJ and TT. Out of those I only won w/ AK once, and that stole the blinds. Not saying I played the optimally, and I made some tough calls that were wrong and some tough laydowns that might have been wrong. My table had a few soft spots but I couldn't catch a hand that I was willing to go to the felt with.
