Yeah, BC! I love this country too!

I've smoked with cops a few times now, though I was expecting him to be less lenient because I was driving at the time.

About driving high, it's not completely cool but I would compare it to driving with about one drink in your system at most, unless you're completely gonzo ripped, which happens sometimes and I never drive when I'm that high. I also follow all the speed limits and am about the safest driver on the road high or not because of my training and my car's capabilities, so I don't feel too bad about it. I'm mixed on the issue though, because not everyone is as careful as I am or as good behind the wheel, and they probably shouldn't be driving around baked.
