$.50/$1 HU NL hand
This is my first post on this forum so please let me know if this post could be any better.
I was playing $.50/$1 NL 6 max last night when the game started to break. It got down to HU and I only had about $40 left. My opponent has a little over $100. I'm on the button with Ks8d. The flop is 3c9dJd. Opponent checks as do I. Turn is Qd. He checks and I check behind. River is 10d and makes the board 3c9dJdQd10d. I no have the low end of the straight flush. My opponent bets $2 and I raise to $10. He thinks for about 5 seconds and goes all in. I obviously call and he has the Kd. Can I get away from this hand? Should I have just called his river bet? Fold after he pushed? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Re: $.50/$1 HU NL hand
Hi and welcome. In the future, when you post hands, use the hand history from your hard drive and paste in into a hand converter. A link to one can be found in the master sticky at the top of the SSNL forum.
As far as the hand goes, I would never fold this ever. Sometimes you just get unlucky. Another question: why were you playing with only $40 on a $100 max table? |

Re: $.50/$1 HU NL hand
Thanks for the advise with the converter. I bought in with $100 and got down to $40. Didn't want to rebuy cause I was about to leave the table.
