actually its not JUST him, its the fact that i can get total concentration and improve my results to a noticeable degree when i am in a place where 110% of my concentration is on the game i am playing.

even little distractions, like someone just being near you when you're playing can have an affect on your game and your results and cost you money in the long run. and besides, i pay for the library, why not use it? ive had a professor of mine see me playing and come over and we sat there for an hour and i explained to him how poker really is and we went in depth into the game and it was pretty awesome to see someone you respect look at a game that can be sometimes scrutinized, looked upon with admiration.

A small vacuum. I know you can check them out from the area desk or whatever, but having our own in the room this year made cleaning so much easier.

which noise cancelling headphones? and are they crucial even if your roommate isn't a partier?

last question, can you still hear the t.v. playing in the room if you have noise cancelling headphones on?

We have a pretty high end vaporizer ($500)... no smoke/smell and good for you! Definately a must have.
