any legitimate hand that will call 2 on the turn and 1 on the river, will be more likely to call 1 on the turn and 2 on the river due to bigger pot odds and what not.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not at 2/4 and not when the 3rd club hits.

[/ QUOTE ]

are you incinuating that I play lower than 2/4? Or are you incinuating that players at 2/4 are extremely weak tight?

True

I think we need to be more concerned about opponent checking the river than we do with him folding to our river raise.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I thought this was obvious but I guess nobody else sees it that way.

True,
yeah we'd rather call the turn if he has 77 or air. The thing is he has those hands less often than a draw or a weaker Ace and it's not close.

I expect the donk often to not be an ace.

A lot of players will incorrectly donk the flop here with A9-AQ for information and fear of AA,AK or because they believe they have the best hand still. Don't ask me why. General observation.

I do this often. Let them bet my hand and raise them on the river. Why tell them they are beat so they can throw away QQ or 77, weaker aces never fold so I think its win/win
