lol at wanting to fold this against a 54/2.

no way he would want to go all in with a smaller flush.

The button is a 54/4/.2 nit after 740 hands. I really cant see him doing this without the K hi flush or A hi flush... he calls down with sets on anything that sembles a dangerous board. His name is keybored111. I want to start making some big laydowns. CAN I LAY THIS DOWN?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, easily, given the read you just described.

What does BBV mean?

The important stat here is not how loose he is, but rather how very passive he is. If he plays 50% of his hands yet check-folds/check-calls a vast majority of the time, what does that tell you when he suddenly raises in what is bound to be an all-in pot ?

An even more important part of the read would be to know what this villain considers a raising hand. With 740 hands on him, it's a shame if we have absolutely no idea.

given your read, if it was 3 handed, i might fold it - your chance of being ahead of him is obviously much higher when you bet and he calls down. if there is a 50/50 chance, but it could be a 100/0 chance, that you are behind, nothign wrong with folding and waiting for him to keep calling you down with crap.

6 handed though, you need to take every spot that is probably +EV that you can find, because you might not get a second chance before he gets stacked.

Um, HE PLAYS OVER HALF OF HIS HANDS. Just because he's a nit postflop doesn't mean he doesn't try to get all his money in with all the lower flushes that you're ahead of. Or sets or something. This would be a really bad fold.
