Default Turning Stone

I have to go to Rochester for business next week. I had a few questions about Turning Stone. What kind of a drive is it from Rochester? What will the games be like on Sunday and Monday night? I usually prefer 10/20 but 5/10 or 15/30 would be fine, any of these running Sunday or Monday? Is the room nice, I am not a big fan really smokey places? Any other relavant info is welcome. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try Mapquest from Rochester to Verona, NY. IIRC it's about 30 miles beyond Syracuse (coming from the West) but I may have that number a little high. Literally it's right off the Thruway (hmm, the wiki should say that but doesn't).

I just drove past it driving from Rochester two weekends ago. It's a little over an hour and a half.

I did see it was a 120 miles I was more curious if it is an easy drive. What would traffic be like around 5:30 or 6:00. This is my first time to upstate New York. All help is appreciated.

I haven't been there since they put up a new poker room. But in the old room, it was smoke free. Bring a jacket because it gets cold. My friend tells me that with the new room there's many many more players so there's actually short handed tables. I remember seeing 5/10 limit and 200 NL. My friend tells me there's higher limits now. And if there's a limit that you don't see, you could always ask to be put on a waiting list and they'll open one up for you.

Was just there on Sunday night week before last. They had 3-6 and 15-30 and nothing in between. I was on an interest list for 5-10 which got alot of names but never went, so I do think that game sometimes goes. Lots of small n/l action if you are interested. Small but nice room, nothing bigger than 15-30 when I was there. The 3-6 he and 1/2 n/l he were good. 15-30 looked like it might be tougher when I watched not surprising perhaps, since it was the biggest game in the room.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will try to make it there at least once.
