McLaren F1.

I heard a stat on the speed channel. If a Veyron was at rest and a McLaren F1 passed it doing 100, the Veyron would beat the F1 to 170.

Who gives a [censored] when you look this good and the Veyron is so ugly.

I'd just get an ultima GTR and spend 50k on the engine. Will be a ton faster than anything mentioned in this thread.

The Veyron may be the world's fastest, but it's ugly as hell, and after owning it a week you (and your sore ass) would be sick of driving it. If I had just one car I think the whole package needs to be considered, the ride, handling, styling, interior and engine, and so I'd probably have the Aston Martin DB9, or the new Vantage. Those things are sexy as [censored], fast as [censored], and you could drive in them all day long in real comfort. That or the Ferrari 430, Mercedes Mclaren SLR, or the Ford GT, I'm not fussed.

Veyron Review

"This car cannot be judged in the same way that we judge other cars. (...) So technically it is a car. And yet it just isn’t.

It makes even the Enzo and the Porsche Carrera GT feel slow and pointless. It is a triumph for lunacy over common sense, a triumph for man over nature and a triumph for Volkswagen over absolutely every other car maker in the world."

This one isn't as popular as most, but I can't believe it got left off the wish list:

750Hp
0-60 2.8 seconds (a half second faster than the Enzo and the Mclaren F1)
0-100 in 5.9 seconds, more than 2 seconds faster than the F50

Oh and you can get two of them for the price of the McLaren...
