At the time, I capped preflop because I wanted to bet first with a flop such as that one. Then I would be able to get a better idea of mp3's hand (I guess I could've achieved the same thing by just calling and then betting out the flop). I wanted utg to pay 2 bets to see the turn too, if he did indeed limp with a drawing hand and picked up a draw. Since mp3 3-bet pf and raised the flop, I put him on AA KK QQ JJ or TT. My raise on the river was to hopefully drive him out if he had some of those hands. Not justifying my play here, just what I was thinking at the time.
