Default NL Poker in Bahamas?

Is it true that they don't offer poker at the atlantis? I did a search and can't really find anything about any other casino? I am planning a trip down there Labor day weekend and thought it would be sweet to play poker while I am there....Anyone have any info? Are there good casinos in Aruba? Should i go there instead...thx for any help.

Kinf of ironic that they would hold a WPT event at a casino that does not offer poker, eh?

There is a little bit of poker (baby NL) at the Crystal Casino at Cable Beach which is about 15 minutes from Atlantis.

I thought poker was illegal in the Bahamas, but Atlantis got a permit exclusively for WPT time.

I was at the Atlantis last December, and they did not offer poker. I don't think that has changed.

In my opinion, I would check out Aruba instead. The Raddison has a poker room. I was there in December 2004 and the were spreading 4/8 and 15/30 limit. I believe they may be spreading some NL now. I would recommend to stay at the Hyatt or Raddison (the Hyatt is a 5 min walk from the Raddison).

I would avoid Atlantis at all costs. I hated it there. (PM me if you want some more info) Aruba is much better...I just booked the week after Christmas at the Hyatt.

Just my 2 cents...

Atlantis does not offer poker. Crystal Casino at the Wyndham resort (Nassau) is the only poker room on the island, according to their ads.

There is a thread with info I collected on the forum at www.allvegaspoker.com, but no one has posted any info there yet.
