Empire VIP points
I havent seen it mentioned in awhile. If this is old news, mods feel free to delete this thread, or ridicule me for not bothering with the search function.
Anyway, as we know Empire VIP points dissapeared a long time ago and no word has been had on if wed ever see them again. I send them nasty emails about it every month or so and I finally got a reply back that looks promising. "thank you for contacting us. You will be pleased to know that the new VIP club is due to be released at the end of next week! The site will have all the information that you have been waiting for, including your points, new structures and what you can do with your points. As well as freerolls and merchandise, you will be able to convert some of your points and play on the site for free! We will email all the details or inform you by post log in pop up. We are very excited about all of these changes. We wish you luck at our tables. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate in contacting us again. Kind Regards Rachel PartyPoker Customer Care" Will be interesting to see how badly they screwed up the conversion. Im estimating that the nearly $200 I had in EP VIP points will be worth somewhere around $10. |

[/ QUOTE ] very doubtful looks like the original email could be wrong too, I recieved another email this morning, this time from the info@ email addy (the email I pasted was the VIP@ addy). "Thank you for contacting us. We hope to be returning this feature to you in the very near future but we are currently finishing the final details for the empirepoker VIP points program and hope to returning the empirepoker VIP store to you soon. Stewart Poker Customer Care" typical. No one knows whats going on. |

Re: Empire VIP points
Is the way they calculate them going to be different? Because they way the used to was really stupid. Using the square root of the amount of hand played.

Re: Empire VIP points
I had about 15k pts when they merged it with Party. Everytime i look in on it, the points seem to have just ceased to exist. i fully expect the rat bastards to tell me i've missed some window and have lost them all by now.

Re: Empire VIP points
I got a TV from them at 15k points.
And then was getting $100/mth from them at 25k points. Also got a not-so-terrible watch. I was a winner in the very last quarterly-raffle thing they had there and didn't even know it. One day a big poker table-top and chips and cards just showed up at my door all with big empirepoker logos on it. I miss some of that random crap they used to send to me. |

Re: Empire VIP points
I got my empire Watch about 18 months ago I think. And I still haven't bothered to take it somewhere to get it sized properly so that I can actually wear it.
My current watch is getting a bit worn though so it's nice to have that never-worn, brand-new watch in reserve. |
