Re: 1/2 AA vs 3 opponents

[ QUOTE ] Turn: I check, because I'm certain BB and UTG won't fold here unless they have absolutely nothing. Is checking here a mistake? [/ QUOTE ] I think you have to value-bet this turn. UTG and BB are going to call you say, well thats just good! If you're behind you will notice, they would have bet out or they will c/r. |

I don't like the check on the turn, bet that. Chances are you have this hand won.

Re: 1/2 AA vs 3 opponents
After the reraise on the flop UTG+1 called. There is no way if he had pocket kk he is slow playing with two calling stations on board for the ride.
He played a hand like he had JJ or QQ all the way. So you were free and clear on the turn to nail him. If he went for the trap reraise on the turn after calling the flop then he is one helluva player or one lucky bastard for hitting a set of 4's. But that is good news too. Based on his play he should have folded after the flop reraise instead of calling, cause clearly his queens were beaten. So he was a calling station for you after the flop as well... Forget the BB bet on the river if you had raised the turn...but you would have got 3 callers for two bets. That pot cost you 6 bb or 3 hours of good play. When you get pocket rockets think rock. Slow down for 3 flush without the matching Ace and paired boards on the flop. Otherwise cap it. Watch for straights, pairs and 3 flushes on turn, bet it but don't cap otherwise cap. Keep the pressure on. No fourth diamond on the river...after the call...cap it. Conservatively 3BB loss guarantee probably 6 potential 8 BB loss. I don't know about you but for me that is substantial. |
