Re: Anybody think \"The Wire\" sucks?
The Wire gets my vote for good to very good series.
I could be somewhat swayed becasue I live in Maryland about 35 miles from Baltimore where the story takes place, but I think I'd like it anyway.
All of season 1 is on Comcast on-demand so I watched it without having to rent the dvds or wait week to week.
Seaon 2 is based on the waterfront of Baltimore rather than the projects. I'm getting the dvd's through blockbuster to watch the 2nd and 3rd season. I just finished the first 2 episodes of season 2.
I understsnd season 3 is based another aspect of business / life in the city.
I'd say the profanity is realistic.
