Re: 77 from the sb. thoughts?
are we hoping UTG+1 has A6 or just assuming they took a stab on the flop with a hand too weak to raise preflop (A4-AT or something???)? the flop is so ragged, it doesn't seem like they bet the flop without a pair but the turn check seems so weird.

are we hoping UTG+1 has A6 or just assuming they took a stab on the flop with a hand too weak to raise preflop (A4-AT or something???)? the flop is so ragged, it doesn't seem like they bet the flop without a pair but the turn check seems so weird. [/ QUOTE ] I'd expect to see something like 88 or 55 here somewhat often, or maybe some hand with a couple clubs (Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] maybe, something with an over and a couple backdoors, or maybe A4 that picked up a gutter) that was pretty much bluffing the flop but decided to check when picking up extra outs on the turn. I think you played it ok. I don't think his range has enough hands you beat but would fold to make a river lead any good, but he played it so much like a busted draw or something like A6 or 55 that I'm loathe to fold. |
