Default General Question

This is my first ever post, however I have been reading the forum for several months now. I have noticed as a general rule I win lots of small pots and lose a few big ones. Generally I show a meager profit, 1.5bb/hour. I was wondering is this is indicative of anything particular. I realize this is vauge, but any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Default Re: General Question

Obviously this is not nearly enough information to critique your game. The main thing is that you do have at least a positive earnings (and from here forward, you should probably refer to BB/100, it is the standard referred to around here). Really there are no stats that are "ideal" for a NL game unlike limit poker. Players can succeed playing 18% of pots or they can succeed playing 40% of pots. It really depends on the player's style and post-flop skills. I suggest you take any hands you may have questioned the way you play and post them up.
