There are plenty of programs out there that download streaming media. I get annoyed with streamed media too and don't want to pay a monthly fee for that stuff. Look into it, it's not that hard. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] And there's no necessary editing involved.

Any basic sound recording program will do. Just set your "recording" under control panel -> volume control to either "what you hear" or "wave."

It should be easy to find.

I don't know of any freeware since I have more elaborate recording programs for my studio, but heck, even Window's 'sound recorder' would work (or does it have a recording cap of 1 minute?).

Crop the edges, convert to mp3, and you're done. No need to bother with any video files.
