Default Party 1/2 LO8: Standard, or did I miss something?

No real reads on anyone at the table, as I haven't been there too long. Just your typical 1/2 Party LO8 players. Once again, rip into me as you see fit.

Party Poker

Limit: $1/$2
10 players

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is MP2 with :5h :4d :ah :ad
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, Hero calls, MP3 calls, CO (poster) checks, Button folds, SB calls, BB (poster) checks.

Flop: :as :kd :7h (7SB, 7 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, [color=#cc0000]UTG+2 bets</font>, [color=#cc0000]Hero raises</font>, MP3 calls, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG folds, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: :5d (7.5BB, 4 players)
BB checks, [color=#cc0000]UTG+2 bets</font>, Hero calls, MP3 calls, BB calls.

River: :5s (11.5BB, 4 players)
BB checks, [color=#cc0000]UTG+2 bets</font>, Hero calls, [color=#cc0000]MP3 raises</font>, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, [color=#cc0000]Hero 3-bets</font>, MP3 calls, BB calls, UTG+2 calls.

Results:
Final pot: 23.5BB

I felt like a raise wasn't right PF, seeing as how almost nobody would fold to 2 bets before the flop, and I'd need a very particular kind of flop for my low to scoop. I'm raising the flop for sure because I have top set and I might get other low-only draws to fold, and I have backdoor draws. The turn I feel a bit lost, as with the river. How are my lines there?

Also, sorry about the formatting, I think I had a few errors converting it...

You missed the raise preflop.
What you feel and what is the
correct play don't always coincide.
This is always a raise preflop.

heres how id play it...

PF: because this is a game of flushes, (and any flush we catch is a Nut), and we have decent low potential, we really shud b building with this hand, esp against weak opponents. so feel free to raise

F: great flop, and correct raise (pushing the best hand and the BD draws)

T: this card is gorgeous. why rnt we raising? the low is out...and ppl rnt folding it now if they have it. feel free to put the 2b in there. being u have 9 outs on the flush, and 7 fair filler cards, so 16 cards that solidify our hand...and only a 9 is a safe card. so....U HAVE TO RAISE. with so many ppl in this hand...push the EV...plus, there are quite a few cards that freeze u (any card thats not a flush, board pr, or 9). SO PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSH

R: unless u kno that some1 is going to raise behind u, plz raise this. ppl rnt folding their lows...so feel free to ramma-jamma the pot...make money of their quarters.

just my 2cents...hope it helps

I raise preflop. Like the raise flop. Turn check is good as you are only drawing, likely to half. Like the river, looking for overcalls. If you are paying attention, you might even get calls on river by more than one hand. So scratch that, i raise river unless I have a read that both will fold.

I need more help understanding why you advocate a turn raise. Player is still drawing, and while he has 16 filler outs, as you say, 7/9 of his flush are for 50%, other two maybe only 75%, 2 aces and 2 5's are for 50%, and while he MIGHT win with AA, I'd hate to have the river 4 bet and not improve. Frankly, I hate to have the turn 4 bet and not improve.

Pre-flop,with 5 behind you left to call,it would be a good idea to raise, narrowing the field to promote the value of AA &amp; also to put pressure on any hand containing A3 or 32.
