Now what you’re proposing here, is that on top of that, any particular poster that you find either unfunny or uninteresting, or for what ever reason just rubs you the wrong way, will be banned and embarrassed at the end of each and every month?

[/ QUOTE ]

That is pretty much how I understand the proposal, yes.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, that’s what I got too. It was just so incredibly stupid that I had to make sure.

Do you plan on revoking their privilege to post and respond in the strategy forums as well?

[/ QUOTE ]

I assume so.

[/ QUOTE ]
And yet you still think it’s a good idea.

Reminds me somewhat of an incident a few months back where a certain poster was banned from 2+2 for something entirely unrelated that took place on IRC. I also seem to recall a certain masked crusader leading the charge against subjective exclusion. Funny how an entire forum that once rallied behind SpicyF is now all of a sudden pro-subjective banning. Hmmm….

(I suppose 10 different posters will now chime in and explain to me how that was different because it was outside of 2+2. Save it. It’s the exact same principal.)

How do you think Mason would feel about you cutting down his traffic simply because a poster doesn’t suit your palette?

[/ QUOTE ]

Mason would love it because the forums would improve significantly and would become much more attractive to a much broader group of users.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow. I just counted THREE baseless conjectures in one sentence. Must be some sort of record.

Honestly, I have lurked here for a while and have noticed you continually displaying this level of immaturity and blatant trolling.

[/ QUOTE ]

If by "immaturity and blatant trolling" you mean "great idea" then I agree.

[/ QUOTE ]

And if by “great idea” you mean “worst idea ever”, then yes, that’s exactly what I mean.

El D, I think you're a terrific poster, but you're totally off on this one.

I really don’t know how this became such an overnight crusade for me, as I really don’t give a [censored] what goes on in this forum. I guess just seeing how many people could be so blindly convinced into supporting such a ridiculous idea, I felt the need to play Devil’s advocate.

Anyway, all that being said, I’m done with this obviously futile campaign, as I realize it’s really not that big a deal either way. You can play your silly reindeer games, I won’t interfere. What ever gets you through the day I guess.

By bumping this post, I am showing my support!

[/ QUOTE ]

Is this happening or am I going to have to wade through 10 more ejaculation and masturbation threads when I get up tomorrow?

Let's assume it's going through and just start nominating people.

As usual I have no idea what's going on.

So who ya gonna ban again?

people who start too many threads? people who ask too many relationship questions? (how about the people that use a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or a in every reply? seriously there should be a limit to these)

why do you have to ban them anyway. can't you just point out their flaws and mock them like everyone else? That's usually entertaining

(by the way could you start with private joker as a personal favor to me? That ass-hole messed me up bad. I want revenge)

I'll be honest with you - there are few classes of people I hate more than the presumptious, superbitchified "Internet Tough Guy" who uses his security blanket of anonymity to say and do things he'd never for a second have the stones to say and do in real life. Pathetic.

However.

The last 48 hours have seen a round of posts that have brought me closer and closer to sympathy with your cause.

"What if you had to bone a granny, or else die? Which do you do? Oh, oh! What if you had to bone a dude? Whoa."

"I shouldered this guy -- pretty slick, eh? No?! [censored] YOU! Here's ten thousand reasons why it ruled."

"I wonder if BigSteve vomits at the thought of girls."

"So you dig chicks, right? So do you just stand in front of a mirror naked and look at yourself all the time?"

SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE RIVERS OF BLOOD SHIVA UNMAKER OF WORLDS.

Like The Economist's endorsement of Kerry, consider this my sad and reluctant seal of approval.
