Re: Best tournament player of all time
Masked Man,
I would like to nominate yellowsub86, aka Jeff Williams has already nearly matched Madsen's career winnings and just turned 20. |

Re: Best tournament player of all time
Clayton: Talk to me when the kid can play WSOP tourneys.
DDH: I think there's a good chance people will look back at the results of this poll in a few years and laugh at the lack of support Gale received, but I can understand how many consider he has not fully cemented his legend status yet. Whitewash: I'm starting to get really sick of pepole mentioning all these names that clearly dont apply to the poll. Please try and keep this thread on topic and just discuss the legends that I've mentioned. I think I have included all the top legends between my initial and followup polls. TT: Chen is definitely a very valid choice. ed: Very good analysis. sirio: Also, I hear Sebok is friends with some hot chicks, but I do not think he has really won a lot of championships, so he is not quite at the legend tier yet. Cald: Thank you for the input, I definitely appreciate all contributions to this thread from those of you with WSOP experience. |

Re: Best tournament player of all time
Diablo, you're obviously an idiot. Ivey has had more success in tournament poker in 5 years than anybody. How the hell is MAdsen on the list? He wins 2 and all of a sudden he is greater than Seidel who has 7 bracelets? Men the Master has 6, and Scotty Ngyuen has 5 i believe not to mention multiple final tables at the WPT, i believe thats 5 too. How about John Juanda? 3 wsop bracelts and 6 wpt final tables. The guy is always cashing, 6 cashes at the WSOP last year alone. I fiond it a bit suprising you dont know who Cunningham is but whatever. And, nobody has mentioned TJ CLOUTIER.....the best tournament player of all time perhaps...he has won over 50 major tourneys and has 6 bracelets, if you even think madsen or gale are these guys leagues you are insane.

Re: Best tournament player of all time
VV,
I think you should check your facts. Also, I do not really care about cashes and table appearances. I am talking about the legends of tournament poker in this thread, guys who are all about winning, not cashing. |

Re: Best tournament player of all time
Clayton,
Seriously, man, that kind of obvious trolling is not appreciated at all in this thread. You do not consider danny nguyen a candidate and we both know that. |
