for me it's where did you sleep last night. the first time i heard it i was just blown away. it's actually an old appalachian folk song with a fascinating history dating back to the 1870s, and has been recorded by leadbelly, joan baez, and dolly parton, among dozens of others.

I absolutely adore this song. Something about the "upbeat" sounding ones on this album...I guess I'm responding to the irony of it all.

Alice in Chains Unplugged is up there with this one too. I also like Neil Youngs effort.

On their most recent album (Best hits + 1 other new song) I find myself listening to Man Who sold the World from Unplugged more than any other song by far. Great rendition.
