Re: set over set? Try quads over quads
Next time don't play crap hands like T7s, just AT so that your kicker would have played obviously

Re: set over set? Try quads over quads
[ QUOTE ]
What do you think he puts you on when he pushes!!?!?!?! Suppose he has a K, then he's chopping if you have a K, and he's losing to a T. But now he pushes over the top for two buyins when there's a good chance you could have a T. The board is KKTTT and he pushes over the top 2 buyins all-in and he raised preflop, and you have a T in your hand........... [/ QUOTE ] if you're suggesting he fold the T, then you're a moron, shut up, go to another forum please, this is a SUPER EASY river call, you'll see AK etc. hands a LARGE % of the time, way more often than KK. Only way I fold is if I have a CRAZY SUPER live read. |

Re: set over set? Try quads over quads

[ QUOTE ] Have you seen some bad plays people make in this game? I watched a man push all in w/a significant amount of chips w/2nd pair on a JT9xx board. You can never fold something like this b/c theres a decent chance he's pushing w/a singleton king just to put me to the test. He also might be getting snippy w/AA after all he's got a FH. While this may seem like a distant possibility I've seen worse while playing live so that answer is NO, this is NEVER a fold [/ QUOTE ] Let's change try a similar situation: you limp with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Villain raises, you call 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] check, check 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] you bet pot, villain calls 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] you bet 2/3 pot, villain reraises 200bbs over the top. So: there's a good chance you have the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], but yet, he raises you 200bbs over the top. And he raised preflop, and slowplayed the entire way. You got Zeebood, dude. [/ QUOTE ] you're a moron, go away.....sorry, but needed to be said. Heads up???? |

Re: set over set? Try quads over quads
T7s at a standard casino 100nl game is gold. so is quads. I'd be calling off my stack, clothing, and future children.

Your location rules, but could you at least put on some quotation marks and give a brother some credit?

Re: set over set? Try quads over quads
OMG, Neilsin was serious. This is .25/.50c NL. Actually it wouldn't matter what limit this is. At that level there are a ton of retarted hands your opponent could have. Higher levels aren't filled with weak-tight nits.
In the original scenario I will list the hands that would push here and I wouldn't be surprised to see: AK, KQ, KJ, K9, K8, K7, K6, K5, K4, K3, K2, AA, QQ, JJ, Eff it . . . every other hand too because they could be pushing someone off a split pot. You really should not be playing this game if you don't insta-call with a ten. |
