Anyone got any suggestions for dealing with eyestrain?
I get really bad eyestrain after playing for awhile. I have two LCD screens that I play on. I've tried taking playing with the lights on and off as well takeing break but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

you can try a blacklight. also, be sure to play with the lights on. playing with the lights off for an extended period of time is the rough equivalent of simply staring into a lightbulb. not good for the eyes.

Re: Anyone got any suggestions for dealing with eyestrain?
Tell your optometrist. You don't have one because, "My eyes are perfect!"?
Guess what? They aren't. Even if you just have a pair of glasses for staring at the screen for 8+ hours and never wear them outside of that you'll probably find relief. I know this because not only am I nearsighted, my eyes don't focus correctly. I'm told that most peoples eyes slightly cross when at rest but mine would like to be slightly the other way. "Google-eyed", I guess. This caused me no end of trouble staring at monitors until an optometrist tested for it and corrected my lenses. Now I'm good for 15+ hours. |
