I hate to say it, but does it matter really? I know that may sound silly but given the way he played the hand he could have virtually anything. I certainly do not believe he would have played a set or a highly unlikely rivered straight that way. While you can't really rule out any holding I think a bluff, some goofy played two-pair or some kind of ace is far more likely... But really, as played he is kind of hard to put on a hand but when you have top two on this board, what does it matter?

Well, I wouldn't rule it, still would have called though. Play seems kinda donktastic so a deuce, albeit unlikely, shouldn't be ruled out neither. Remember he dont know you have top two, and if you have another holding, wouldn't he want to extract value from his hand? The way I see it if he has a set or a straight just grit your teeth and move on. Be sure to remember him and his play if he does though.
