Because in your bad run it will look like this
-900
-800
-1000
-1200
+4600
-1800
-900
-2800
+2200

If most of your session are losing session, is going to affect the way you play. It's going to cost you more money in term of bad plays.

another reason is that most people are accustomed to making money from a job and having a steady income that is never negative.
