Too cold makes my throat hurt in the morning. Also, my side of the bed is near the AC vent and I CANNOT STAND air blowing on me while I sleep. Our thermostat is set at 78, which my wife negotiated me down to from 79. During the day while I'm out I know she goes down to 75, but changes it back before I get home.

I used to like it colder, but care less now that I'm old and crusty and cheap.

I like it around 65... I like bundling up with lots of blankets when I sleep.

I would also MUCH rather be too cold than too warm when sleeping. The few times Ive had to sleep in hot weather with no AC I stay awake the whole night.

set to 70.

That's too hot, but the wife won't let me go lower. the [censored] you put up with for love...

I end up falling asleep on top of the covers most nights and then getting under them at some point during the night.

FWIW, I set it to 70 in the winter and 74 or 75 in the summer.

Dude, stop.

I think prefering to sleep cold rather than warm is standard. I don't think anyone likes to sleep while hot.
