Default Montana Card Rooms near Absarokee / Columbus

Its that time of year again. We are off for two weeks of fly fishing and relaxation in Big Sky Country.

Has anyone played cards in or around Absarokee or Columbus?
Can someone give me some ideas of where to play and the games available in the area.

Here is a link to a current listing of all the Montana establishments licensed to offer live card games Montana Department of Justice Website - Establishments offering live cards

Here are a couple of places listed in Columbus.

307 BAR & GRILL
842 E PIKE AVE
COLUMBUS MT 59019

NEW ATLAS BAR
PO BOX 1528
COLUMBUS MT 59019

GOLD STRIKE CASINO & BAR
142 S. PRATTEN
COLUMBUS MT 59019

Sorry, I have no idea what limits or when games would be offered. I may have missed places mear where you are looking as well. It is a fairly big list.

If you are going into Billings and want to play there, I suggest the Crystal Lounge (3/6 with games starting at 10:00am) or Doc & Eddies for a bigger games if that's what you want. Montana has a $300 in the pot limit so I have heard bigger games, like they have a t D&E's are a bit odd.
If you like playing games other than Hold'em there are places that play dealers choice as well. One of them should be the Riverboat Casino (in Billings as well)

Montana has a lot of card rooms but a lot of them, even in Billings, are in small places with one table and only playing a couple or maybe even one night a week.

Have Fun!

Thanks for the info!!!

We always hit the New Atlas (see'em dead zoo) for a cold beer. I didn't know they had a game. This time I'll ask.

Thanks again!
