NL 50 200BB KK hand.
Villain is quite a calling station to this point. 65/5/1. Goes to showdown 40% of the time. He has laid down a couple of hands to big bets earlier. I put him off the flush draw because he raised the flop, and he has called down with all flush draws to this point. I think I'd still play the flop the same way in retrospect. Do people think this is a mistake? And what do you think of the turn bet? Spew?

Re: NL 50 200BB KK hand.
Have you seen him minraising with TPTK or less? If so it's fine, otherwhise I call flop and try to keep the pot small (c/c reasonable turn bet, block river).
When a calling station raises you shouldn't be too happy to get your money in with one pair, especially not when you're 200BB deep. |

Re: NL 50 200BB KK hand.
I think if all the money goes in here you are beat. Since its heads up on the flop, I think you should call.
His rnge is probably A5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , strong Q, 55, 33 and on the turn they all beat you except strong Qs. There may also be some wacky 2 pair hands out there since he is quite loose You put him on a flush draw yet when it hits you get all your money in? That one confused me. |

Re: NL 50 200BB KK hand.
IMO the turn bet is pure spewage. I'd call the flop raise and see what he does on turn. He seems like a cs right? He doesn't really bet out. What does this mean? Gutshot? Pair? I think this is a goodie. AQ is possibility. I'd like to see a cheap showdown, not get it all in there. Only hand he calls you that you beat is KQ & AQ, or maybe some other crappy Q but most of the time I think he beats your kings.

This looks poor. He has a set or AA a lot IMO.
