Default TPGK Check-Minraised, Turn Decision

Well, I'm trying to start playing 6Max more rather than FR. Adjusting to the increased aggression is about the only thing so far, and one of the places that has been tricky is top pair hands.

I have been playing around 22/13 with pretty high agression. I've taken down a lot of pots with c-bets and the occassional second barrel. I've shown down TPGK which held up and TPTK which lost to two pair in a medium sized pot, both of which I bet most of the way (checked behind river with TPTK). Villian in this hand is 28/4/2.2. No big pots shown down yet. He's taken several pots down on the flop or turn. I've seen him check-minraise once before on a two-tone board, and he took it down right there. I haven't really manged to get a feel just yet for how solid villian is.

UTG ($14.50)
MP ($38.95)
CO ($9.45)
Hero ($26.60)
SB ($9.90)
BB ($18.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
3 folds, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, BB calls $0.75.

Flop: ($2.10) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.85, BB raises to $3.7, Hero calls $1.85.

Turn: ($9.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $3, Hero...?

1) Does anyone take a different line on the flop? Would you play AQ differently?
2) What do we do here? Villian only has like $10 behind on turn. Call? Push? Fold? Does your line change if you hold AQ?

Bump. Is this hand just not that interesting? Check-minraise followed by small turn lead? I feel like pushing here but this could also be someone playing a set in a somewhat tricky (and dumb given the two FDs now out there) way.

minraise could mean he has a draw/overs or atleast 2 pairs.

Your hand is unlikely to improve, so if you are calling his flop bet its because you figure you are best and you can let him hang himself with his bad aggression and get the rest in on a blank turn, reevaluate on non blank.

Re-raise the flop (you want to get it all-in). As played, put in a big raise on the turn. Villain's most likely holding is a weaker Queen.

I re-minraise this flop out of spite.

Is this really a spot I should be looking to get all in on the flop? Do people really get all in with QJ and QT here? If so, what have I been doing at FR!

Bukem, I called the flop bet in part because I think I often have the best hand, but also because I wanted to see what he would do on the turn. Just because you do something at one point doesn't mean you can't change your mind later in the hand with more information.

I agree about sometimes changing your mind, but you are playing against bad players who bloat the pot with hands far worse than yours. So you end up committed to a big pot sometimes.

I usually play 2/4-5/10 but was playing 1/2 the other day.

Villain had just sat down, but I had previous stats on him and remembered him as being dumb over aggressive.

Different flop line than standard. His turn bet scared me a bit, but...

A flop push is horrible. I am generally calling his flop raise and reevaluating the turn. I don't really like folding the turn because your hand still has showdown value. Tough spot. If he goes bonkers on an unimproved river you probably need to let it go.
