I never got any compensation from the school or from him - just didn't occur to me that they might be negligent in letting this guy back in after he chased people around with knives and put his ex-girlfriend's head through a mirror. The story would have made big press in the area due to the shootings at my college a few years prior, but I kept my mouth shut. I did get my girlfriend out of the deal though (they broke up not too long after that) and having scars from a knife fight has gotten me laid at least one other time. NT

Overall, I believe a person who is in a relationship must shoulder the burden of responsibility. If a guy is cruising for tail, good for him. If some chick with a boyfriend is loose enough to put out, so be it. That's her problem and her boyfriend's problem - the random dude is not in charge of protecting the relationship he's not involved in.
