I am thinking that 9T or AT for the straight is likely. But you only need to win 1 in 3 to break even on the call. And trips is a good hand. Unfortunately you split if he has a king with a weaker kicker. You would have to know that he is not capable of bluffing or betting a mediocre hand to fold this. There aren't many 'second best' hands that you can beat. Pairing the queen and jack doesn't look like a strong hand.

So if I wasn't sure I would call. I have seen a lot of crazy stuff. He seems to see a lot of flops maybe he called along with the straight draw and then put down a bluff.

YOu have to pay close attention to 50/3 river agression stats.

Many of them are passive calling stations on the early streets who force themselves to bluff the river since they end up with nothing quite often.

I'm calling this.

Your kicker is no longer the 10, it's the J. Which means if the villain has a K that's better, he'd have AK or KQ or KJ... And I think even a passive player might raise with either of those sooner... Even a passive player might get spooked by the dangerous board.

Yeah, he might have the straight, but he might also have QJ or AJ or Q10 or 99. It's a judgment call for sure, but in my mind there are a lot of plausible hands villain could have here that lose to trip kings...

Call. I dont think SB thinks that you have a K. If he has been slowplaying, why does he bet so close to pot? Wouldnt it be more likely that he would bet closer to 1/2 or 2/3?
