Default I think you\'re gonna puke at this river

I'm in the middle of a 250 BB downward spiral this week so I know it affected me in this hand. I would of course be capping this river any other time.

Villian just sat down a few hands ago.

When he capped the turn I was like WTF it can't be, not again.

So how many bets did I save or miss?

Fold to the turn check/raise, you only have one out and are only getting 19:1.

I understand being a little shell shocked after a big downswing... but this is a "stand on the raise button" kind of hand. Against an unknown, you'll find a maniac or an aggressive player overvaluing their hand or trying to build a big pot for the flush draw about 99.9% of the time. 4 of a kind is like 4500-1. My line is stand on the raise button everytime with top set against an unknown, and happily pay them off when they have 4 of a kind.

Raise the river.

Edit: I read the hand wrong. Anyways, I would still raise the river.

So you read it the first time and you think it's the nuts, but then you realised it's only the second nut full house which is not that good?

No... I thought BB had 3bet preflop, but it was SB who 3bet.

I can only put him on 44 or 33, or some very remote chance that he got something like AA or a FD. With only the set possibilites a raise would be breakeven with 2:1 combinations. With other possible hands its a small positive ev. But that turn CR makes me wanna weight the odds to 33.

I think its extremely close, i think you played it fine and i also think that how you handle this situation doesnt mather in the long run.
