Robb,

What hands is he checking behind on the river that call a push?

What hands is he calling a river push with, but when he bets and gets checkraised folding?

considering that you think he thinks you're on the laggy side I'd really be inclined to reraise the turn and hope for a push.

First, my post was not instructional as I think I probably misplayed it. So if the river seems incongruous with my previous actions, it may be.

I had his hand range narrowed to be 77/K8/A8 with about 80% certainty and honestly I just thought, wow he's going to call a push with all those and I didn't consider a cr. I also thought -- he may check behind with AK but there's a small chance 1. he gets stubborn or 2. I've misread him or 3. he's misread me and decides to call a push with AK.

BB is a tight full ring regular from 10/20 NL. Don't think I've ever seen him show a full out bluff and he doesn't semi-bluff very often, preferring to check/call. He's not afraid to bet his strong hands but essentially is pretty straight forward. Opponent probably views me on the lag side but not crazy. I don't have the hand history for this.

Folded to me in the SB with KK and I just complete. BB checks.

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I check-raise his flop bet of 70 to 140 and he calls. At this point I think his most likely hand is
1.an 8 or 7 looking to hit his kicker and if not he'll dump
the turn.
2. open-ender

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I lead for 200 he raises to 450 and I just call.
He definitely doesn't have an open-ender. I see a set/A7/A8/AK. I think if I reraise the turn he dumps A7/A8 and possibly AK but probably not. AK is probably less likely given the lack of a preflop raise, not to mention it's the case King. Anyway, I may have made a mistake by just calling.

River: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I push for 4700 into a pot of 1280.

Comments on any street?
"You suck" will be accepted.

Raise preflop, Pot the Flop, Pot the Turn, Shove the river.
