Sorry for the delay...

Last Thursday's Home Donkament Results:
8:05pm…Two hands into the tourney, I peek at my hole cards, and I am please to see a couple of Aces! Yeah, things are looking up baby! End result of that hand - I lose about two thirds of my stack to ATs, when the a$$face flops the nut flush.

8:15pm…I am dealt JJ and raise UTG. A couple of callers. Flop is JQ8. I min bet. I am raised 3X my bet. Several folds. I re-raise for the rest of my stack. Villain calls and shows 88. My JJ holds up. Tough for him, but maybe my luck is changing?

8:18pm-9:24pm…COLD cards with the exception of AK one hand and TT another. On those two hands, I raise 3X and get no action. I take the blinds.

9:25pm…Stack is dwindling. Table is unusually aggresive, and my cards are ICE cold.

9:30pm…Blinds are t200/400. I am SB and have a stack of about t1200. Everyone folds, and action is on me. I push with KJos. BB folds.

9:31pm…Again, everyone folds, and I am on the button with AJos and about t1600. I figure AJ on the button + no other callers + big blinds + short stack = PUSH. So I push. SB folds. BB calls with AQ. Game over.

Instead of pouting and moping around, I head upstairs right away to play some steam-fueled online poker!! I play 6-handed NL for 15 minutes, lose $4 and quit. I got downstairs and announce to the remaining players, “well, I just lost four more dollars.” Everyone has a good laugh at my expense.
