Default folding a set?

Second hand of live ~$100 MTT tourney with 41 players. Our table is 11 handed.

Blinds 25/50, all stacks 4000 except mine (3975). First time i'm at a table with villian.

Villian raises to 200 in MP
MP+1 calls
MP+2 calls (this guy likes to gamble early)
Hero calls on button with 77
Blinds fold

Flop: QJ7 rainbow

Villian bets 600, MP+1 folds, MP+2 calls, I think for 10 seconds, announce raise and make it 1800 to go.

Villian announces raise, puts in the call, counts his chips, and then pushes all-in, MP+2 folds.

Hero????

I'll post my thought prosess and results later.

(no read harrington and call post, ive read it)

If he has JJ or QQ then that's poker. He'd probably do the same thing with AA, KK, or AQ.

If his range is JJ+, then it's +EV for you.

Hero beats him into the pot with the call, and it isn't even close.
For me to fold a set in this spot I would need about 500BB's, and it would have to go me bet 9BB on the flop, him raise to 27BB, I reraise to 81 BB, he reraises 200 BB's, then I would have to think about it a lot.

Um, fold if you hate money. If you hate money, stop playing poker. Therefore, if you fold here, you should stop playing poker.

Set over set is about a 100 to 1. If it happens THATZPOKER. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Honestly, there is little thought process to this hand and it does not matter what the results are.
