Obviously, practice at low stakes. There is a book by Stewart Reuban called, how good is your pot limit omaha? that i found useful. There is chapters on omaha hi in some of the standard poker books.

I think this book is a bad suggestion for brand new players. Get Omaha Hold'em, the Action Game by Bob Ciaffone first. It teaches a tighter, more fundamental approach to the game. After you get your feet wet and feel comfortable you can get Reuben's book to check out
