Tournament Tipping Frustration
Does anyone else find it wrong that most tournaments withold a percentage of the prize pool for the dealers, and then still expect you to tip?
It's like when you go to a restaurant with a large party and they take 18% for the waiters. The waiters have already been tipped. Don't you think it would be wrong for them to then ask you if you would like to leave a tip for the waiters? You already have!!! These tournament directors give you the choice between tipping twice and feeling like a cheap bastard. Neither seems like a good alternative, so I simply don't play tournaments. Am I missing something? |

This turns out to be barely minimum wage for the dealers. If you want to leave more at the end great. If you don't, just dont. These tipping threads are getting old. |

Re: Tournament Tipping Frustration
Why did you start a new thread for this rather than posting in the "tipping in tournaments" thread which is still on the first page of this forum? |
